BETTER THAN THE REST
With an industry-leading battery capacity of 1,276Wh i.e. up to DOUBLE that of other electric outboard brands (50% more run-time than a Torqueedo 1103C), the Spirit 1.0 Plus which is equivalent to a 3hp petrol outboard, and designed for tenders, dinghies and sailboats, is the perfect choice.
THE EVO VERSION
Introduced in 2021, the Spirit 1.0 Evo is identical except it features a hydrogeneration function (i.e. the battery is charged whilst under-way) and includes a Safety Wrist Band which keeps you safe in the case of a Man Overboard.
RANGE v PETROL
Petrol outboards in the 2.5hp to 5hp range, have a run time of less than 45 minutes at wide open throttle. The Spirit 1.0 Plus provides a superior 75 minutes at full throttle at a speed of around 6.2 mph and a range of 7.75 miles. If you reduce the throttle to 25%, you will get a speed of 4.4 mph for 5 hours and a range of 22 miles.
